@enneff The screen brightness adjusts automatically to the ambient light levels, and it uses the camera for that, hence the dimming :)
I hope that's the last time I have to set up Jira for someone! The pain--it's over!
Useless OS X tip: If you cover your MBP's camera (and you have "Automatically adjust brightness" on) the screen gets darker! :)
