Does it matter where you host your site? B/c I set it up in google apps, but don't want to change my hosting, but adding CNAME seems like it may do that...
- Liza
It doesn't matter where you host your site. Make sure you create a sub domain like go.yourdomain.com and point that to the right CNAME.
- Svartling
Thanks Glen. Thomas Hawk is going to be so jealous!
- Robert Scoble
Oh, and EVERYONE on board was having withdrawals. More on that later too!
- Robert Scoble
Was the Nimitz berthed in SD or was she out at sea for your visit? Awesome either way. Thomas isnt the only jealous one. :)
- mike wood
Ah, that's where you are. I thought you were coming to Wordcamp. You aren't missing too much.
- Neal Jansons
I surely would have enjoyed that being an ex navy man, myself.
- Tommy Lane
Mike: she was out at sea. We flew into her and got a FREAKING KILLER tour of the carrier. Spent a lot of time with the Captain and Admiral and saw some shit that would blow your mind.
- Robert Scoble
YOU GOT TO FREAKING LAND ON AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER!?!? WE'RE NOT WORTHY
- Glen Mistletoe
Mike; we were literally a few feet from F-18's as they were shot off the carrier (and as they landed). Uploading photos now. One thing, it's damn impressive to see the responsibility our country gives 19 year olds.
- Robert Scoble
I've heard the real-time tracking stuff of the movie, Eagle Eye is old technology now - the Patriot Act has been a Government Geek's dream come true for the real-time web. :-)
- Jesse Stay
im really jealous now. I went out on the Star of India in 2004. A tall ship sailing out of SD Bay is pretty cool, but landing on a carrier... fantastic! :D
- mike wood
My husband is an ex-nuke. Yep, it is frightening.
- Heather Solos
I'll keep that in mind if Guy Kawasaki ever calls.
- DGentry
did you get to ride in his sponsored audi? :)
- Allen Stern
I'm pretty sure Guy won't be calling me anytime soon. Or anytime later. lol
- Ken Camp
Ken: all you have to do it become the world's leading expert on All Top.com. :-)
- Robert Scoble
Robert: Ummm our blog is first up at unifiedcommunications.alltop.com since category went live. But I don't place quite the same glory in being classified an expert by Guy/alltop as some. Guy and I simply don't see eye to eye on far too many things. I don't follow him and choose not to engage any more. It's better for my blood pressure. But thanks. :-)
- Ken Camp
This is exactly why blogs aren't dead and twitter isn't going to take over the world. We want to hear all about your trip, Robert, and 140 charecter discontinuity isn't going to cut it.
- Geoff Schaadt
The "equip people" advice was also in one of Chris's FriendFeed comments not too long ago. I took it to heart and put it into practice, and it's working. Thanks Chris!
- Bruce Lewis
These amazing pictures show the epic architectural murals that are deluding viewers into seeing a 3D scene painted on a flat surface. This beautiful glossy scene shimmering in the sun as the colossal wave appears to crash right onto the pavement forms part of a stunning trompe l'oeil series by John Pugh. It took two months of studio work to plan and a further six months to execute with the help of 11 other artists.

Aline: No problems and thanks for the RT on twitter... ;)
- Emma
These are amazing, The 2nd one seems like it must be 3D, yet 2D is what it is in real life. These are amazing, kudo's to the person in charge of designing these amazing pieces of art. Outstanding and as stated above, epic.
- Zachary TG
That's amazing! I'm not surprised so much goes into the execution of these.
- Rick Cogley
Seems like it's not working for me. I get this: Warning: file_get_contents(cache/Niki1601/ppd.txt) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/m/b/o/mbockenstedt/html/feedstats.info/getStats.php on line 9

Would be cool if in the bar charts (most likes, most columns, like compatibility) you could click the bars of the users to bring up their profiles/feeds.

Robert: does one stand out for just pure quality of the video?
- Ken Sheppardson
I really want one. I need some disposable income.
- Martha
Just bought the Kodak Zi6 as a gift for father-in-law. The price and HD combined with the style made it a winner over the Flip for me which I find to be pretty ugly.
- Mark H
I love it when these kinds of tweets get Scobleized. Crowd-sourcing my product research! : )
- Mike Doeff
Ken: the Creative has the best video, but doesn't work with the Mac's iMovie so you have to convert videos there first. That's a PITA, but doable. Mark: the Kodak is the ugliest and biggest one. I like the Mino for fitting in my pocket the best.
- Robert Scoble
Lindsey, I haven't decided on a design yet. In fact, now I'm also considering the Kodah Zi6 and the Creative Vado.
- Mike Doeff
I take mine everywhere, since it fits nicely in my pocket. The videos you get probably won't impress any engineers, but you have a camera when you need it.
- Tom Landini
Exactly, Lindsey. It is so very very hard to be fiscally responsible.
- Martha
There is a slick video out there someplace where someone taped/rubberbanded a mino to another pocket HD cam to show their quality side by side. Might be good to watch. But damn I cannot find the video.
- Patrick Allmond
Patrick Chris Pirillo did that. Let me find the URL.
- Robert Scoble
the editing on that video was great, too!
- Veronica
if i have kids... they'll be like this :)
- Amber A.
Even Simon would have to love that :-)
- Todd Hoff
There's something especially touching given the words of the song to hear it sung by kids with their whole lives ahead of them. Hopefully they won't need to sing it later.
- Todd Hoff
The little guy in the back seat busts me up.
- mrsha
that was fantastic. i laughed from start to finish!
- Alejandro
Laughing out loud at 0:57. that kids face is priceless.
- Aaron Bronander
Meh, I've seen way better lightsabre fight choreography in other fan videos.... Wait, was I supposed to be paying attention to something else?
- Paul Wilcox
Depends on what you like, Paul. Me, I agreed with you on the choreography issue.
- MiniMage TKDteacher of FF
It'd be nice if they showed you how to actually get your username/URL on each site. On a couple (e.g. Facebook) it's not possible, and on others it's not obvious.
- Ken Sheppardson
sent this, but can't find the original tweet: "RT @PRsarahevans: Next up for the @namechk team: working on auto-registration feature. Will take time, stay tuned!" -Edit: Just confirmed by @namechk no ETA on auto-register, but it IS in the works. ("Lots of other features too" )
- guruvan (Rob Nelson)
Hahahahah I just "rediscovered" my revver account, Thanks Robert!
- J. Abdul-Qahhar
Awesome Flickr set: "Images are made by finding old photographs of places, printing them out, and then holding the print up in the modern day location that the original photograph was taken. So far, all historical images have been available for free at the Library of Congress."

That is an outstanding share, Rachel.Flickr was my all time first for "sharing" info site. It's like a museum of Art in your own home. A few years ago, I became a Flickr-holic. Hubby and I started photographing dandelions at 4am in the backyard and stuff...it brought us closer together - but made us realize photographers WE ARE NOT. True photographers astound me with their creativity & skill, and the way they capture beauty. Great set!
- Laurel Phelps LaFlamme
Laurel - thanks, I just love what I can find on Flickr. Ted - I'm with you. I love that he keeps his hand in them all as well. My favorite has to be this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos... Having the woman in there just adds so much.
