I love it -- a clearly-written article describing how useful compile-time checks are for a large code base, and some guy has to chime in with the following comment: "Aren't unit tests a much more effective way of doing this? You're just using a compiler to be a (very) poor-man's unit test suite." Yeah, great idea. Write a test for every possible mistake in your code, down to individual typos.

I've been using the Shure E2c's for >4 years now, and absolutely love them. They're leaps and bounds better than anything else I've tried (that didn't cost $$$). They were about $100 when I bought them, but are probably a bit cheaper now. It's slightly irritating to pay $15 for a few pieces of cheap foam, but I've only had to do that once in >4 years, so that's not too bad.

I'm not very well-versed on headphones -- all of mine in the past have been whatever cheapo set came with whatever portable music device I happened to be using at the time, though I've stayed away from the stock Apple headphones like the plague -- but I use Bose In-Ear headphones at work and love them.

@daniele @matteo retweet sembra molto scambio link (c'è sia free sia a pagamento) concordo che non si capisce nè come possa funzionare nè come possa stare in piedi (van provati però per giudicare). ad.ly è diverso perchè il lifestreaming adv per le aziende tradizionali può essere un modo per entrare nel social (e i tweet sponsored sono cmq approvati dai publisher). Sul filone ho visto anche magpie e penso nasceranno molte soluzioni (google in primis) per fare adv/autorizati contestuali

@Marco esiste una grossa differenza tra 1) un sistema, perfettamente funzionante, come Google PPC dove a fronte di un rapporto fisso tra advertising e contenuto è il prezzo che determina l'equilibrio domanda-offerta e 2) un sistema dove a chiunque è offerta la possibilità di diventare Ad Publisher su lo stesso medium condiviso andandolo così rapidamente a saturare di pubblicità. La verifica? Se i prezzi al kilo non cambiano a fronte dei mutamenti della domanda c'è qualcosa che non funziona.

Mah, mah, non per polemizzare, ma della prima stagione si salvano i primi due episodi. Le altre stagioni non le ho guardate, per sconforto. Non mi aspetto BattelStar Galactica, né posso sperare nelle stagioni storiche di Dr. Who. Diciamo qualcosa di meno "Buffy" non sarebbe male. ;-)
