It's funny that you posted this, because I am in the process of doing the same thing. Disqus let way too much spam through that I would have liked. I am hoping that IntenseDebate will be much better seeing that the program was developed by the creators of WordPress, automattic.

Lets assume for a minute that your child is in their last year of high school and a lot of planning has been made with college and towards a very high paying and successful career. All of a sudden, your child comes to you and tells you that they no longer want to finish school and they want to immediately push forward in a career with earning money online. What would your reaction be? Would you support their efforts or would you discourage your child and insist on pushing forward with school and the more traditional career choice?

In my opinion, cPanel web hosting is the best choice for web hosting. I have been hosting blogs and web sites for many years and doing so hasn’t always been the easiest thing to do. cPanel makes things so much easier to the point where you don’t even know anything about web hosting to successfully operate your web hosting account.

This is an old documentary about Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) that was produced back in 1992. I don't remember where I came across this video originally, it's been many years now, but it's a truly fascinating look back at where Computers came from, and the early days before the "Internet Age" really took hold. I used to connect to several BBS systems back in the day, so this is what I call nostalgic by far. Very dated, REALLY geeky, if it's not informative, it should at least be humorous. Enjoy.

This is a mediawatch broadcast of the work I was doing in the early 90's in using Bulletin Board System (BBS) technology for helping people. This was pre-internet world. It was fun then, learning and networking. Today we now have "Social networking" in the Web 2.0 era. How time have not change!!

Google Chrome will soon auto discover RSS feeds much like how the current version of Firefox does. When you download Google Chrome, by default you install the Beta version rather then the Dev version. Google says that the Beta version involves less updates and more stability. However, if you use the Dev version of Google Chrome, you'll have to update more often, but you get new features long before the folks using Beta.

For those who enjoy using Google Chrome but miss having your PageRank meter found in the Google Toolbar commonly in Firefox and Internet Explorer, Keith Dsouza, author of one of my favorite tech blogs, Techie Buzz, has created a very cool Google PageRank bookmark button. Simply drag the button and drop it into your Google Chrome toolbar and when you need to check the PageRank of a site you are visiting, simply click the link and a pop up window will appear with the current PageRank.

Gmail launched on April 1st, 2004. Since that time it has been in Beta. I have often wondered when Gmail will move out of Beta. You'd think that by now, Gmail wouldn't still be in Beta version, or perhaps maybe be in the Release Candidate stages.

Here is a pic of an online buddy of mine, Jarret Cade. He is holding his one year old 22 LBS Burmese Python snake. Jarret tells me that this snake eats full rabbits approximately once every 5 to 7 days.

"You know... I have that trouble too on some servers. I have to use the regular upload button rather than the flash one... it's a total pain in the butt for sure."
