NOOOO! I'm really worried they'll end up using the Unreal Engine 3, which they've used and kind of suggested they're switching to for an extended period. I haven't really liked the quality of games SqEnix has released using it.

Nah, I'm sure Square Enix will use their own tools if they do. That fan remake on the Unreal Engine didn't look that great. http://venturebeat.com/2011... — but what Steam is releasing sounds like a straight-up port of the original game.

Victor, I wasn't talking about the fan remake, they've been using UE since The Last Remnant, and they've licensed it for further use[1]. I'd prefer a straight port, even though I've got the game on my computer and use an emulator. [1]http://www.eurogamer.net/article...
