I like using Cellartracker a lot when looking for recommendations on wine. It's great because you not only get input from experts, but from everyday people as well. - Bradley Preuss
Anything from Bordeaux may work - tends to be Cab Sav/Merlot blends - although St Emilion & Pomerol will (most likely) be merlot only. - Alex Prichard
