Well, looks like everything is working right now, had to add a some sources from the PPA to get direct rendering working. But I had to do that with Jaunty also. Now to focus on other stuff... like dealing with +15k articles in google reader. :|
Found a conflict with gstreamer, which keep pidgin from running, had to downgrade some packages. But that's what you get when you start using 3rd party source, still have more to do, but going to grab the camera and walk outside for a bit.
Well, it's done. There was a few errors on several package, stuff I didn't know I had installed. And the program just quite, so I don't know if it completed properly or not. But I'll check and see what apt-get install -f says, but anything more will have to wait, the bed calls... and is sounding much better than the keyboard. :)
Starting update-manager, going to try to upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 'Karmic Koala' tonight, well have it d/l everything tonight I'm not going to stay up until it's done. I'll upgrade my little

@Trevor Yeah, it always takes longer than you think... Though these days we have a faster dsl connection so that should help some.

It started off REAL slow for me, because I was counting on the WiFi to my Dell Mini 9. Then I woke up, and hijacked the ethernet from my desktop, and it sped up a lot.
