I'm just a freelancer who sometimes has too much time on my hands... I live in LR, Arkansas.
Looks like the weather is settling down, still a lighting/thunder, but I don't think anything is coming this way that require me getting up (and unplugging stuff). So I shall make my way to bed and sleep.
Very annoying can't seem to record a video with vlc using my webcam as a source, trying cheese.
Starting to hear thunder again, looks like the second storm has lost some of it's intensity...
Well, that one passed quickly, now to wait for the next one... And it looks like it'll last for a a while.
Just as I was starting to get ready for bed, I start hearing thunder... *sigh* Looks like I'll be up for a while yet for one reason or another...

Some people to the east of us are firing off something that'll go up above the trees giving us a good view of the firework. So I braved the mosquitoes and grabbed the cameas for some shots, before retreating back inside. I'm processing the photos now, I think I have two or three really goods ones, I'll upload to flickr soon.
The sun has set, and I hear people nearby setting off fireworks... Wonder if they'll be anything worth getting the camera setup for.
