I've really been appreciating the ALT.NET podcast. Refreshing to hear balanced, useful information out of the ALT.NET community.
Yeah, I hear you. I'm digging those casts as well... - Greg Duncan
Very glad to hear it. - Mike Moore

they still do plastic bags at grocery shops in SoCal?
last i was there (2 months ago) they did - MG Siegler
so stupid - Scott Wamsley
Yep. Plastic bags everywhere. But, as far as I know they're recyclable too. - Jon Galloway
Like we need to be reminded, but anyways ... "Continent-size toxic stew of plastic trash fouling swath of Pacific Ocean" ... http://tinyurl.com/2ytv6c - Scott Wamsley
Plastic may be out of fashion, but paper bags take substantially more energy to transport, and tend to be less reusable. Downsides to both. - G. Andrew Duthie from bTT
Yep, but more and more people in CA (okay, my family at least ;) are using the re-usable cloth bag's. Now having used those for a while I'll never go back to paper or plastic. You can just stuff SO much stuff in those cloth bags! :) - Greg Duncan
I agree w Greg. Stores should stop supplying them. Either you bring in your own cloth (or whatever bags) or you can buy new cloth ones at check out. - Scott Wamsley
Why not let people choose? If cloth bags are so much better, eventually folks will figure that out on their own. And believe it or not, there are still folks who can barely afford their groceries...for them, buying reusable cloth bags at the checkout is a luxury they cannot afford. - G. Andrew Duthie from bTT

"BTW, the WLW team has contacted me and I'm working with them to resolve this... Thank you again for bringing this topic up. One way I've been able to reproduce this issue, to get WLW to poke in extra P Tags, is through cut-n-paste (which I do allot)." - Greg Duncan

"LOL. I've seen those too in my WLW CTP usage and I thought they were ID-10-T errors (i.e. that I was being an Idiot). Thank you for confirming I'm not going insane (well not much anyway ;)" - Greg Duncan
