Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul Guitar
"Say what you will about his weird persona and on-stage fashion, but Brian Patrick Carroll, a.k.a. Buckethead, sure as hell can play a guitar. The Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul Guitar ($4,300) is a tribute to his prowess, featuring an oversized, chambered mahogany body, a two-piece maple top, ceramic humbucking pickups with modified electronics and red arcade button kill switches, a marker-less ebony fingerboard, and a high-gloss Alpine White finish that's as striking as the player for which the axe is named." - Derrick from Bookmarklet
Is this Rock Band compatible? - Scoble, Alex Scoble
No, it requires talent. *zing* - Pete
it's a real guitar. also really expensive cos it's a custom artist model AND made by Gibson who price everything for twice what it's worth. too bad they can't reproduce the quality they had pre-1970s. - Joe The Sausage
Have you seen someone play a difficult guitar song on Rock Band on Expert, Pete? It requires almost as much talent as actually playing the song, just a different type of talent. - Scoble, Alex Scoble
No, Glen, I'm not saying that you can learn to play the guitar by playing Rock Band. I'm saying that being able to play Rock Band requires skill/talent, particularly on Expert. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about. Is it musical talent? Somewhat, but different as well. I will also say that the complexity of actually playing the guitar is at least an order of magnitude greater. Playing Yngwie Malmsteen on Rock Band on Expert is totally not as hard as actually playing the song on a real guitar, but still pretty damn difficult and definitely requires talent. - Scoble, Alex Scoble
Nooooooooooo...not a pepper mill! - Scoble, Alex Scoble
