I told my husband about fried chicken day and then he wanted some. Aside from Popeye's, most online sources pointed to a restaurant an hour away or one that is long closed as having the best. then I found out about a brand new soul food joint 2 miles from my house. they had no AC, they were running out of everything. we got 2 chicken dinners to go and it was delicious, although hubs dinner was 4 wings! they closed at 7 pm on Friday just after we ordered, cause they ran out of food! - LibrarianOnTheLoose from BuddyFeed
