I'm no handyman but I'm assuming when my sink was leaking water and I went to check it, the pipe that fell into my hands is a bad thing?

Turned the water off and calling the landlord. This is just...awesome.

Sympathy. We spent way too much time Sunday futzing with the shutoff valves in the basement (y thar haz to be 4?) so that the exterior faucet would work and I could wash my bike. Definitely less urgent than yours, but still annoying.
