Funny, I preached three times this week about how God sees in the dark, how he knows our thoughts, our words, our ways and our days, how he goes with us and puts his hand on us no matter how dark the situation might seem... And yet I freaked out this morning because of a silly lost wallet. You'd think that by now I'd just trust that he knows what...
For over a month, I've been trying to figure out why I occasionaly get out of the shower and still feel like my hair isn't clean... is it the shampoo? My hair product? The water softener? Did I forget to use shampoo at all?! The mystery is solved. I just saw Sarah put WAY too much lotion on her hands. Her remedy? Wipe them off on my bathtowel....

We get paid tomorrow... that means we're doing some creative cooking tonight. My kids love the challenge. Sarah is making pigs in the blanket... she has been doing so for half an hour... she's talking to the hotdogs... um... she's delightful and strange, very strange.
The ID drama is over. It took 12.50 and about 4 minutes to get a new driver's license. :) Plus I registered to vote in this distrct and finally have the correct address on my license... Ooh and I got the pleasant reminder that I still weigh less than what my license has said for years. Pray I find my wallet tomorrow though... I don't want to...
Ok. Couldn't find my wallet. But I contacted the public school transportation director and they're going to bus the kids off post for me. If I can find my wallet or get a new driver's license today, we're good to go. If not, they can ride the bus tomorrow too... if I drop them off at 7am.
Lost wallet. Used expired Army Dependent ID at gate. Confiscated. Chastised. Kids got to school on time though. But how do I pick them up?
