Three fellow Army Reserve Chaplain Candidates should be knocking on my door any minute. Tomorrow is our first day to drill with the 102nd Training Division. Hooah!
My son is sorting dirty sliveware and explaining to me the RIGHT way to load the dishwasher... Now Sarah is giving me cooking tips... I appreciate their helpful independence... but I could do without the condescending Home Ec lessons.
I haven't seen my keys since Friday. 15 years ago, I would have went to the preschool Sunday School class at People's Church and asked Kyla L. Smith to pray I found them.
Jeremiah is going to school today and Sarah is staying home with a fever of 102.9. She nearly killed me with her whining this morning until I let her know that I was throwing up half the night... she decided to be nice to me, since I might feel worse than she does.
School nurse called. Sarah had a temp of 103. I had to go pick her up, she had a cute little blue mask on her face... so she could keep her germs to herself. Guess this cancels a few of my appointments in Springfield tomorrow...
9 years ago a man ran over Joel Maxwell's legs with a car on purpose. We didn't know if he'd ever walk again. Two years ago, his leg hurt so bad, we thought his military career was over. This morning, he ran 26.2 miles.
Got home and slept until the moment we had to leave to go to church. Got kids in car, raced to St. Robert, discovered that my little guy was sick. We stuck around for 2 or 3 songs then had to leave. Poor little guy was coughing too much and looked pathetic. I'm taking him to the doc tomorrow.
