"I agree with the people who posted before me, this is good news for Groupon and LS, the competition is dying and it's the result of not offering anything different or solving a problem these two companies haven't already addressed. I think it's the "me too" daily deals market that is volatile. I suspect we will be talking about the death of all the daily deal "me too" companies the report cited in Europe and S. America that have sprung up as well unless they plan to offer something unique and different. Not to mention Google Offers, which has a unique advantage due to it's huge presence and influence coming from Google."
