Just watched my first ever episode of Bear Grylls. Wow. WOW WOW. I've been missing out.

cette semaine, secteur Raf lundi,. Ski de fond a Vallouise et grimpe a la salle avec Steph hier, et le pouit avec Pierre, Jerry et Yann aujourd'hui! J'arrive a sortir un peu quand même!

Pas mal de jours de congé (pas beaucoup de clients au resto). J'ai passé deux mega jour aux Calanques de Marseille avec Pierre Muller la semaine dernière. On a fait une super voie qui s'appelle Au Delà de la Verticale sur le Concave et de la couenne au secteur des toits...... les temps parfait, ciel bleu, pas de vent, 15 dégrées......

sinon pelvoux va bien profiter de mes fish and chips, et steak pies etc.

Mon premier jour dans mon nouveau métier aujourd'hui; 'cuisinier de restaurant!' on ouvre samedi mais je vous conseille d'attendre au moins quelque jours avant de venir manger.... ça va prendre un petit peut de temps de m’habituer je pence.

Spent today cutting and stacking wood. A good healthy wood pile can be a very satisfying thing.

I went up to the Pre de Madame Carle this morning at first light to scope out a location for our next film project. I stupidly was only wearing crocks and the snow was super hard , so after questing up the hill to check out avalanche debris (it's a 'how to use an avalanche transceiver film), I came sliding back down. Not too great. No harm done.

We didn't get onto the face in the end due to David's bad back (recovering from a variation of 'No Siesta' on the Jorasses last week). We did put the tracks in to the start of the climbing however, the snow surprisingly soft.
