I like options. Of the finance variety.
I accidentally substituted cumin for cinnamon in the sweet potato casserole I just made. But, surprisingly, it turned out well anyway.
Having a branch of your bank at the bottom of your building might just be the best thing ever.
My internet service from PCCW Netvigator pretty much sucks, but their customer service is quite good. Which makes it hard to stay angry.

It's so cool to see families with children here, raising their kids to be Texan from half a world away.
Watching the Longhorn game with John and fellow Texas alumni at a bar in Hong Kong. At 9AM, mind you. Can I get a Shiner up in here?!
I think I'm in China.
Fail. But at least I beat my previous top score in Scramble by 23 points. That counts for something, right? Sigh.

Furthermore, my chief complaint regarding podcasts is that frequently, specifically with stories, the people doing the readings are subpar.
To be clear, even though I now listen to podcasts, it doesn't mean I prefer it. I read very fast and would rather read over listen any day.
I just discovered podcasts. Don't laugh at me.
Last month, I spent 77.7 hours on the phone. Which is 3.2375 days. Can you tell that I'm in a long distance relationship?
