Irony (with a pun): Seattle's Light Rail will have some tracks shut down at night for three weeks to quiet the rails in some neighborhoods->
In order to quiet those rails, they will be grinding the rails for hours and hours each night with big grinding machines.
@zeldman Say hello to Toby (or Tobala) for me.
NYTimes: "TechCrunch does not have physical control of any of the intellectual property." rrrrr....wuh? http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...
@alfwatt He was given crunchies, which are the IP rape equivalent of roofies, I guess.
@jsnell Auntie Apple Pie. You know, I once ate McPizza in New Haven, I believe. It was exactly like it sounds.
Oh, good. Our water is regulary poisoned. The EPA knew. The EPA didn't do much about it. Talk about terrorists. http://www.nytimes.com/2009...
@dmoren Macworld's stock in trade isn't rumors. It's facts. What we demand is a solid absence in facts. Demarcation. Where was I!
@gruber Kinda wound up about neither, but I thought the intro was good, and you came off well. Eight AppleInsiders? All sock puppets?
Researcher uses Amazon EC2 to run WPA password cracking service at $34 per password. Clever! Not dangerous. http://wifinetnews.com/archive...
@jsnell Perhaps 8 people write, but that site doesn't have revenue to support 8 people. Perhaps Prince McC is 7 of them.
@peterjhill Short, blunt pyramid!
@Gartenberg You're think of Google Golem, which require a SIM (Semetic Identity Module) to operate.
@Gartenberg Uncle! Onkel!
@rlepage It was more about mythical products & the people what love them. Weird to put @gruber in a box with AppleInsider.
NPR: "Neil Hughes works for AppleInsider with a team of eight other reporters in Punta Gorda, Fla." Really? No. Really?
@jsnell 5 franc Frank?
@jeannieyandel Damned, I was just there. I missed my window of choc-otunity.
Feeling like I'm already seeing FTC-mandated blogger disclosure: @gruber: "They sent me one a few weeks ago, and it is perfect"
@blankbaby I should have done that with the first Kindle I bought, which was for review, & I returned. Could have made $400.
.@jsnell @GartenbergWhat's the inverse of Godwin's Law? "We got to anti-semite in three moves."
@jsnell @Gartenberg Verizon's Dreidel was a smart move, especially with the accelerometer. (missing hashtag) #jewishgadgets

I understand why I never knew about Favrd. It was for the cool kids! Funny people! I was excluded! By not being funny! Not really.
@atlauren Yeah, doesn't work for all modalities. I rely on iPhone app when on other computers (typically rare).
@jsnell Nu, I do.
Wow, Scribd's download interface is the most in-your-face annoying sign-up/upsell/hoo-ha I've experienced outside of GoDaddy.
Hey, @gruber, I can't see you any more, now that you're fucking 1,000 feet tall, striding across Mac-dom like a Colossus.
