"What a great post! (I totally didn't remember that Arsenic and Old Lace took place at Halloween.) I'm off to the library this morning for the Nora Roberts book, even though the title of your first option ("In Deep Voodoo", Hah!) makes me snort."

"Yay for panting and plotting. PantSing. Are they pantsTers or pantsers. Somebody slap me quick. Last year I stumbled on Nano on Nov 2, and decided I could probably put together enuf goods to fill a book, but NOT in a MONTH. Those people are nuts. Hehe. These are the numbers I decided on: 250 words on a page x 12 pages in a chapter = 3000 words, or about 5 of my blog posts. If Nanowrimo says that 50k is a book, then 50k divided by 3k = a 16 chapter book, or about 80 blog posts. I gave myself a year to write 80 posts on boxing, just to see if I could. As of today I have 67. Cool, huh? And embarrassing. You Nano people write that much in a month. Sigh."

"Yes, darling, you are a bad bad poet, but there are just so many bad bad poets that it's truly difficult to determine the worst among us. May the worst poet win! Or would that be lose?"

"Makes sense to me. Think about all the companies who will save on having to do this brand monitoring in-house. It can be a major full time job, and small businesses cannot always afford to spare the staff. So instead they pay the fee and save time and money and Seth's group facilitates the dialogue for them. Win win."

"Thanks for the link. You know what would rock? A list of all North Carolina romance authors/books. That would rock. I love local. Meanwhile, I marked your link!"

"I love your book recs. I read Sea Witch (Virginia Kantra) because of one of your recent posts, and loved the entire series. I'm kinda partial to romes with a paranormal or fantasy element right now (a phase). I'm dead tired of the English "ton." So, I have your site bookmarked on my iPhone now so I can access these recs when I go to the library!"

"Dayum. Good vid, rocker. Yeah, your nose looks like someone beat the crap out of you, but it will heal up and look more normal again soon. Now go sit on the couch with a beer. You deserve it. Happy healing."

In Christy Martin's bid to rack up 50 wins in her pro boxing career, she broke her hand in the tenth round of the WBC Female Jr. Middleweight Championship and still took the title and her 49th win. Will she hang up the gloves one win short of her goal?
