"G_d's plan demands that the Jews MUST be in their promised land for Moshiach to arrive. And that means Judea, not Tel Aviv. The IDF miraculously took Yesha against all odds because it was the will of G_d that Moshiach should be there on time. This is a fundamental conflict for Haredim, who believe that Israel at its inception MUST be an idealistic theocracy. The orthodox belief is that Moshiach first arrives and then leads the Jews into the Promised Land. However, the Promised Land itself held Moshiach captive while the Jews were in exile. Haredim simply don't understand that the "promise" of the Promised Land is that the anointing comes out of the sacred dirt."
