Awesome. My favorite bit is where the press release says "The Mouse team have worked closely with experts from the OpenOffice.org User Experience project..." which makes sense, because really, who else would think to put 18 programmable buttons (each with a separate double-click action) and an analog joystick onto a mouse?

The momentum behind the iPhone is the key. There's so many people behind the iPhone now, better technology can't affect it (and Apple does a good job of keeping the product competitive). Android would be wise to provide a simple solution for porting of iPhone apps. They need the apps.

i think this is a little beyond apple vs. google. i agree above, its the momentum behind it. its quite possible droid has many more advantages but as of today also has a lottt to catch up and iphone isnt slowing either.

I'd like to see some computer setups that include a graphics tablet that are convenient and don't take up an excess amount of space or make you stretch awkwardly. I've considered using a split keyboard, one half on one side of the table and the other half on the other side. When drawing, one would mostly be using the keyboard for typing filenames and whatever menu selections and so on that one can't do with the tablet. Does that seem reasonable?

Clean and white is the main point. :D Still tiresome when the edge of the table is so short your elbow would be hanging mid-air (that's the table's problem though, not the platform).
