Yep. You can pretty much guarantee that if something even vaguely dangerous isn't against the law, someone will get around to trying it. (My favorite "Why?" is the Seattle regulation against 6' long concealed weapons, because seriously. How /do/ you conceal a 6' long weapon, if they're not talking collapsible?) - Jennifer Dittrich
