@extremekinger T.O. just needed to see a couple of saves from their goalie early on so they could feel competitive again. It happened!
@tastyfishnchips My only question for them is 'how can you get 3000+ followers and yet only 1 or 2 put you on a list?' Can't be good.
Yup - a ton of followers and barely listed by anyone. You lose! (and you too, and you too, and also you!)
@fgoldsmith *doh* yup - I haz a fear of getting old I guess. :)
Mr. 5 just made some 'crackerpillars' - cracker put together to make them look like caterpillars.
@capital_health Took me 45 minutes in-and-out to get my son's. That includes the 15 minute wait time afterwards.
@2011CanadaGames Great! Someone was asking about the Shannon Park site and wondered if it was still going to be used.
Lots of DM spam in my box today. Please let me know if you get one from me!
@capital_health Glad I went today. Except that 'informed consent' video was extremely boring.
@JessyO Oh yeah - I tend to use Chrome if that makes a difference.
@LindsayMBurke I have to say that the ability to access resources from home is pretty sensible in an h1n1 world.
@ICCNS for sure - it's just the prize that's local - anyone can talk about reading or comment on the blog for sure!
@ICCNS Ooops! Sorry about that. It's hard to blend the local with the global/online I suppose. Also, thanks for compliment on website!
Let the teens in your life know we want to hear about why they read: http://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/teens... #whyread - I <3 'it calms me down when I'm mad'
@gretchenhams Ooops! 'into' means mostly that I've been listening to his songs. WW passed away in 2003 I think.
Someone unnamed got me into Wesley Willis tonight. I can't believe how much I love it. http://www.youtube.com/watch...

@JessyO great job. Somehow lost the .jpg in the filename for right click (following the link and saving worked though).
@leebrux That's good company to have dinner with!
@libraryfuture I find the "my way or be lame" tone of your tweets more cultural isolation/exclusion. We are not the water buffalo club.
@libraryfuture Well, etiquette and manners are part of cultural expectations. Also, culture involves more than one person's preferences.
@HaNoWriMoNS Of course, the card is free and it gets you into our downloadable audiobooks and databases too. http://digitalmedia.halifaxpub...
@2011CanadaGames Had some questions about the use of the Shannon Park site for the games on Google Wave. Can you comment?
@MaryWilton It's so true. And no offense, but at least the girls had Judy Blume. I had SF and comics and that's about it.
@justingill @joelkelly ~~~ Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. . . ~~~ you can't top the Carpenters.
Back when I was a teen, I tried (poorly) to pretend I was smart enough to read Joyce, Homer and Austen. Wish I was a teen now. #whyread
Teens | Halifax Public Libraries http://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/teens... It's Teen Read Week! We're asking teens why they read! How about you? #whyread
@hail_mary I've been juuuuuust making the teen category for almost 20 years now. :) I'm big on Judy Moody right now #whyread .
Cooking up a storm. Also enjoying that the kids are watching the Flintstones. Who thinks up a world with names like Ann Margrock?
