In a sense, Microsoft’s in the risk-reduction business now." -- When you're the one supplying the risk, say in the form of, "wouldn't it be a shame if you got sued because you were violating our patents with some other OS", and then you provide the "risk reduction" as Mr. Anderson calls it... Where I come from that's called "running a protection racket".

Ballmer said that economic growth in the last 25 years was fueled by innovation, globalization, and debt--and that the current levels of debt were unsustainable.
