"Just because 13 is in the Fibonacci sequence does not mean that pairing tracks to total 13 is putting the tracks into the Fibonacci sequence order. But if you enjoy finding patterns in things and using mathematical terms then have a lovely time."

"This is just like the thing I built a mockup of so many years ago for a Yamaha sponsored school project that I called Stairoids. It is fun to see such a funky idea actually get built by someone."

"Thank you so much for saving me the torture of clicking 24 times on the next button on the painfully minimal information density and slow loading ad filled pages. They left out one of my favorite Christmas movies: Trading Places (1983)."

"Absolutely right. The billion/billiard issue does not quite explain it since the "email" writes out the numbers with correct number of zeros for the US version of billion, TJ seems to not be so good at dividing large numbers by other large numbers. Of course 425000 USD per citizen would be an amazing thing, but I imagine the sudden inflation would be equally amazing."

"The total of the smaller dots is only a little over 42%. I would guess the other 58% of deaths are "natural causes". But then I read the article http://www.nsc.org/lrs... and it totals "All External Causes of Mortality" at 1 in 22. It also says "The lifetime odds of dying from an injury for a person born in 2003 were 1 in 23." I don't claim to understand statistics well, but this just doesn't add up."

"I love the idea of multiple input devices each having their own cursors, even better are the interfaces where each finger gets its own cursor. This the best example of multitouch I know of: http://cs.nyu.edu/~jhan... The best part of this particular program is that the entire thing is fake. Fake video, fake installer."
