Yes, of course! I am just a bit sad that since Friend Feed will eventually be no more, you won't be following me anymore... Not enough to "ruin" my day, but it was always nice to know that P Diddy was following me on FF. ;-) Until that time however, always, always positive!
- Greg Rose
Perhaps they were having doubts about publishing them. I can understand. :)
- Jordi Soler
People still have to do the work to post them? That takes time.
- Greg Rose
Greg: really? Ever hear of an iPhone? I can have a photo to you in minutes.
- Robert Scoble
WiFi and HSDPA direct upload exists for Android and iphone? Not even a click, once the picture is taken, it should upload instantly, does that feature exist?
- Charbax
That said, I have videos from the party I still haven't uploaded.
- Robert Scoble
I dont like the way Arrington has been treating you lately, Robert. I'm on the verge of boycotting TechCrunch on your behalf. It seems he is trying to make you into a joke.
- Stuart Tracte
Mostly because the YouTube upload feature on the iPhone doesn't work.
- Robert Scoble
I posted them by 9 am Monday morning... you guys just took a while to look at them...
- Jamie Klingler
Don't boycott TC on his behalf! It's a wonderful website
- Mark
Stuart: I appreciate that. If he is successful into making me into a joke it's because I deserved it.
- Robert Scoble
we're living in a very busy real time era.
- Orli Yakuel
Perhaps you should offer techcrunch a spot on your SUL, Robert. Surely that will give you priority treatment.
- Tyler Hurst
On those leaked screenshots of twitter admin, I love how they call the SUL section "play with users"
- Mark
You think? We are all allowed to have a debaucherous time and have incriminating photos taken... its just quite trollish the way they were published
- Stuart Tracte
Well it was a quiet news day yesterday, Arrington no doubt wanted to stir something up for something to do
- Mark
Tyler: I'm already following Arrington because he earns a spot there every day.
- Robert Scoble
Guys, it was funny. It was a really fun party... no harm, no foul. The pictures were posed for, taken and giggled over... it isn't a big deal at all. Not sure why anyone really gives a shit.
- Jamie Klingler
@mark I know... TechCrunch is at the top of my RSS feed, but I just dont understand why anyone has to throw Scoble under the bus.. we all make mistakes, say things from the heart before the head, and should not be dragged through the mud, especially when good intentions are the impetus for our actions
- Stuart Tracte
Jamie: what you said. People love being entertained and we were certainly entertaining on Saturday night.
- Robert Scoble
I'm waiting for an Android app that gives real-time personalized party recommendations worldwide, based on people at any public parties saying it's cool or not.
- Charbax
I didn't think they were published in a harmful way, I thought you two were friends. Maybe I spent too much time out of Friendfeed...
- Jordi Soler
Better late than never, thanks for sharing. Large grins here in Chicago. :) Also think info overload may have had something to do with delay...
- dennis podgorski
It's just Arrington's style. He did the same thing with Calacanis. Made a full post abotu how stupid he looked in his Poker Clothes last week. Its just something to do
- Mark
Ya know how Rush Limbaugh just forges ahead in arguments and bends whatever you are saying to agree with him?
- Ryan Stanley
I shot a bunch of RAW pics on vacation, haven't had time to do a proper edit so they're still languishing on my harddrive. Those I saved to my Eye-Fi cards got uploaded immediately for family to enjoy. Although they're not necessarily as good, there's a ton of value in their immediacy.
- Rick Bucich
Well, let us know when you're back in London...although Duffy will be in Seattle by then...
- Jamie Klingler
Robert, London just seems like a fun place to live. Are all the women that beautiful like I saw in the pics? I think I may have to make a move. I want to be a part of that!
- Stephen Pickering
Stephen: London is a lot of fun and the people there are beautiful, indeed. But aren't they everywhere?
- Robert Scoble
Yes, but do you notice a certain type of "less uptightness" and more exuberance there versus the U.S.? It seems a cultural thing there of more acceptance less judgemental, cliqueishness
- Stephen Pickering
Stephen: I don't know, get people partying together and they all seem to get along. Just visit SXSW and see that.
- Robert Scoble
Maybe pictures of a party aren't really newsworthy? Party pics often seem to be the domain of Facebook or personal blogs. It's great to see people having fun, but it might not be in TC's wheehouse.
- Trent Hamm
where and when did you get the idea of that we are living in a real time world? if i may ask sir?
- Özgür D. Cyric
Ozgur: I can talk to you here in real time.
- Robert Scoble
It was a rwtorical question i forgot a smiley. Anyway once i saw an email with a latency of more than 12 hours. 13 nearly. :) how bout that? :)))
- Özgür D. Cyric

"With less than two months remaining in office, George W. Bush, witnessing a devastating defeat for the Republican Party, worse favorability ratings than those of Richard Nixon at the height of the Watergate scandal, and the most devastating economic situation since the Great Depression, is reported by a number of well-placed sources in Washington as drinking heavily."
- Thomas Hawk

I knew it!! I had a feeling that history would show that he had been drinking again during his presidency. I just did not know that "history" would speak up so soon! I mean the guy is not even out of office yet! Ha!
- Greg Rose
I don't think that website qualifies as anything close to a reliable source. I think he's just making stuff up, to see which gullible bloggers lend credence to his story.
- Jake Rome
He had exhibited several symptoms of a 'dry drunk' but more than once rumors have come up that he hadn't been quite so dry. Ah well.
- Ladybug Heather
Not the biggest fan of Bush, but don't wish him any harm. Hope he can take care of himself. His position would drive anyone to drink.
- Derrick
I just assumed he was always drunk and people just accepted it. Why else would he say or do the things he has?
- Gary H
Supposedly he quit drinking, but he's been seen drinking O'Doul's. Which any recovering alcoholic will tell you is a no no since it contains a small amount of alcohol in it. This has been rumored before and it wouldn't surprise me.
- Paul
If I was having the year he was I "might" start drinking again, too.
- Jason Shultz
from twhirl
At least that gives an excuse for his arse-like behavior.
- Clay Newton
and that ladies and gentlemen is why i love Derrick ++ for bringin' the class bro - sincerely appreciated
- Marco(aureliusmaximus)
Aw, thanks Marco! Right back atcha, bud.
- Derrick
I put zero credibility in this blog post by the way. I'd thought that Bush was an alcoholic and quit drinking entirely. Maybe I'm wrong though. Just interesting speculation is all.
- Thomas Hawk
Bush is an alcoholic and was a recovering one, though his commitment seemed shaky to me. I can remember an interview where he swore he could have a glass of wine with dinner and not drink to excess. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me to find out he's drinking again. I hope not, though, for his sake AND ours.
- Karoli
Certainly interesting speculation. I wouldn't be surprised if its the case though, he is human after all and the stress he must be under now is almost unimaginable. Regardless of how you feel about the guy I would feel badly if this were true.
- Jeffrey Marsh
It would be surprising to me if an alcoholic President could get away with drinking. Granted there are times that he's alone but he can't exactly go down to the supermarket and pick up a six pack of beer. Somebody's got to be supplying it to him and if he's drinking a lot, eventually I'd think that this is going to come out.
- Thomas Hawk
I've never been a Bush supporter and while it would be inappropriate to drink at summits, gatherings, etc. while on the job, if he's at home watching a football game, who gives a shit what he does?
- Rich Harris
As any recovering alcoholic will tell you, even one sip of a drink could set off a binge. Alcohol is poison to an alcoholic.
- Karoli
The problem is, is that Bush never sought professional help for his drinking. So even if he's been dry he still has problems that need to be resolved.
- Paul
Too bad that in hitting bottom he took the rest of the world with him.
- Chuck LeDuc Díaz
Ask newmediajim - He's a member of the WH press corps that, according to the article, are afraid to mention it because they'll get their credentials pulled. I can just see Helen Thomas shaking in her shoes afraid to report anything negative about Bush. The WH has absolutely no leverage over a press corps that is covering a lame duck President. (or was that a lame drunk President?) So, to me, this doesn't pass the smell test.
- Rex Hammock
Usually that 'Black' font is used more for Renaissance faires than for news sites.
- Mark Czerniec
how sad. He's gotta have the biggest stress ball in his stomach imaginable. Some liquor might be needed to break it all down... yikes!
- Susan Beebe
For some reason I thought he was on the wagon as a recovering alcoholic? Oops. Guess I'll be seeing the Secret Service at my local Sigel's in a couple months (upscale liquor store in Dallas)
- mark zero (Jason)
Yeah, and Sarah Palin said that Africa was a country and she can see Russia from her front door. Don't believe everything on the internet. I doubt this drinking story has any credibility.
- Tommy Lane
Cause they don' t have the money or resources to pay someone to make it nice. Also, they are too busy making music and getting gigs to learn how to code themselves. If they could code a webpage, they would be out making money instead of being a starving artist.
