"So you're saying you believe my air temperature hypothesis is likely correct? And this is possible because the nozzle is not perfectly airtight, and air is able to get into the bottle better than it can get out? Assuming air slowly leaks in and out of the bottle, is it also possible that much more air is sucked in during hours in the refrigerator than escapes during minutes in room temperature?"

"I think you could do most of this with just a jig saw and a drill—that's gotta be under $100. In fact, it wouldn't be the most beautiful build, but if you can find some scrap pieces of wood roughly the right size, you could probably do this build without a saw."

"A member of our crew picked up an unfrozen (I don't know if you'd call it "fresh," certainly not wild) turkey from the store. Bill injected it with Paul Newman's Italian dressing. The caterer served several Thanksgiving-style sides: stuffing, cheesy green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and some sort of pie. No iced tea on set; Bill enjoyed hot tea (breakfast blend, not Earl Grey - that's only for Picard). We ate in the living room, around a coffee table, discussing horses and sci-fi conventions."
