QUICK TIP FOR GETTING MORE TRAFFIC FROM SOCIAL NETWORKING: Make sure there is an image on every page of your site that can be shared on Social Networking sites like StumbleUpon and FriendFeed. Ideally there would be two: your logo and one for the post, product or service someone is sharing.

The REASON you want to have images available is that they catch the eye of more people and garner more clicks AND it makes it easy for someone to find that referral again. Some visitors to that person's Social Networking account will remember where they saw something and are much more likely to find it when there is an image attached. Even more important, the PERSON who shared it will be able to quickly and easily find that post again when they want to email it to someone directly, share it on another network, or bump it back up to the top. This one tip will GREATLY increase your visibility and success using Social Media.
