Ladies and gentlemen, I’m delighted to report: Mr. Johnson and I are at it again. Yes, it’s been six years since Rian brought me on board to bang out BRICK’s Brendan. And it wasn’t even too long after that when he started telling me about the seed of this one already brewing in his bones.
Please forgive my telling you absolutely nothing regarding the particulars of the film. We’ve got a ways to go before we even start shooting, so put on your patience pants. Trust me, this one will be worth the wait…
Brick is one of my favorite movies of all time. If the drawing above wasn’t enough to get you on board with with the next project from Ryan Johnson click through to the Looper tumblr… It currently has 8 images (presumably inspiration for the film) and two of them have to do with time. I was already on board with because of Ryan Johnson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but if they’re crafting a movie dealing with time travel… I don’t have words. It’s as if they have made a movie just for me.
