I sometimes have problems with Gmail running in Fluid. Some action will take a long time to complete (showing the gmail "still working" message at top) Finally I close the window and just try to reload gmail. This produces an error "400: bad request" every time. Any suggestions?
my only guess is there is some state left over from whatever Ajax request Gmail was hung up on, and this state is included when trying to reload the whole page, causing the error.

I had similar problems with Google Reader. I found the problem fixed after I reinstalled the fluid app.

Mostly I think it's the obsessive hand-washing. You aren't washing your hands enough if they don't bleed at least once a day. Then again, I don't really manage to avoid getting sick. I've gotten violently ill at least once a year so far.

I really like Rufus Wainwright's rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". I know there are a few other covers that I love as well. I think the real question is if there's a cover that you heard *after* being familiar with the original, and still favor the cover.

I prefer the Nostalgia 77/Alice Russell cover of "7 Nation Army" to the original. Also Fugee's "Killing Me Softly" is better, though I'm sick of it after hearing it 10M times. Oh and The Wedding Present cover of "Pleasant Valley Sunday" is way better. Hmm and I like the "Dub Side Of The Moon" reggae version of Dark Side Of The Moon better too.

I have fond memories of listening to Soft Cell's album "Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret" alternating with The Cure's album "Boys Don't Cry" over and over again in high school. Wanna know something that may make you barf? The Pussycat Dolls did a remake of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love/Where'd Did Our Love Go" medley.

I have to say that I really like the Pet Shop Boys cover of 'Always on my mind' titled 'Always in my house'. I realize that Elvis (and Willie Nelson) fans probably now see me like I see kids who prefer Madonna's 'American Pie' to the original.
