Funny? Who cares about funny. It's got my two favorite latinas. Slim, elegant Penelope and curvaceous, sultry Salma. I'll be in my bunk...

"Get out your checklist: - Shot of a character very far away, walking toward the camera but blurred as heat rises up from the road? Damn right. - Hero shot from below, framing the character with a blue sky behind them? You know it! - Incoherent action? From start to finish. - Thoughtful characters? Not a one. - Explosions? Why wouldn’t there be!"

"There’s no sassy black character who’s had it with all your motherfuckin bullshit or an elderly Asian character who has no reaction to the insane action going on just a few feet behind him, but why would he give that away for free when people will pay 12 dollars for it."
- Alex Scrivener
Jandy, it's a feature length film, not a cartoon, and not 1953's Peter Pan. The little girl isn't Wendy, but there's a reason she looks like Wendy.
- Alix Whitmire
and my prize is jealousy. LOVED Jekyll.
- Joe Pierce
I was watching it earlier on Netflix. They've added quite a few UK shows lately, apparently.

Anyone who wants to know how hard of an edge the new DOCTOR WHO might have needs to see this mini. Steven Moffat, the soon-to-be producer of WHO, did this as well.
- Steven Perez
Moffat could have done some very interesting things with Eccleston's Doctor, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with the new ones. Even if I am a bit nervous about the kid.
- Joe Pierce
Imagine the Doctor with a bit of Hyde in him.

Jane!! Oops, I guess Coupling isn't really scary, huh? This is on Netflix Instant Watch? *adds*

I'd like to see James Nesbitt as The Doctor. Jandy, is Coupling any good? I've never seen it.
- Joe Pierce
COUPLING is not bad. I catch it whenever it's on BBC America.

I love Coupling. It was originally meant as kind of the British version of Friends, so there are six friends with varying levels of relationships, but the dialogue and situations are WAY raunchier than anything American (basic network) TV could take. And with that edge of Britishness that makes it even better.

you know how most people rave about joss and say he's the second coming? (my opinon? joss is good but also makes so-so stuff too) i feel that way about the moff. press gang, coupling, jekyll, some of the best who episodes and NOW he's taking over the show.
- Terry O'Fee
Well, then, you should love what Leonardo DiCaprio is doing. He's redoing the movie to make it hew more closely to the book. That remake should be out in 2012.
- Steven Perez
I should re-read it soon. I'm almost done with the German book I'm reading now and I'll need something to take its place. I also like Ende's book Momo.
- Katy S
I <3 this movie so much. It is one of the few examples where a movie that strays pretty far from the book manages to create something as amazing, if not better in some ways). I like the book a lot, but love the movie.
- Jennifer Dittrich
They're both good. I just really really love the book. I like its german-ness. There's something about German fantasy for this age group that I find really enticing.
- Katy S
I want to love them both, but the movie got too sappy for me and the book scraped too close to... what I can best describe as my squick for original sin. But I love the Childlike Empress in both! And Momo never fails to make me happy.
- Deborah Fitchett
MOON CHILD!!!! (I don't love this movie. Actually, I quite dislike it, but I know lots of people that love it. It's like my feeling for Labyrinth.)

BASTIAN, YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME A NEW NAME!! BAASSTIAAANN, PLLEEEEEZZZZ!! (my sister and I use to say this to each other when we were little)

Oh great now the theme song is stuck in my head
- Rodfather
*slides through on my brand new racing snail*
- Joe Pierce
It was at this point in the movie that the really cute guy next to me and I both started laughing, looked at each other and said "red shirt" in tiny voices.
- Jennifer Dittrich
I know, right? They might as well named him "Ensign Ricky". :D

Not Valkyrie. Actually this is not a WW2 movie at all. This is a mix of war/sci-fi/medieval/uchronia happening in the 28th century. Probably not a famous movie, but famous actors in it.

i'm baffled. i've searched, and came up with nothing... but i am seriously intrigued...

Another hint: one of the actors and one of the actresses also played together in a 2008 movie adapted from a comic book.
