11 Reasons Guildmasters Fail - http://www.worldofmatticus.com/2008...
on World of Matticus. They took a post about 7 reasons leaders fail and translated it into WoW leadership. Enjoyable article and good to do a self evaluation, though it misses the #1 guild killer: inconsistency - Guild Guru
ONline MMORPG Gaming isn't alone anymore - Matthew Anton - http://www.tell-it.net/matthew...
Interesting comparison of MMO and console games. I liked the quote regarding guilds: "You are now a part of something larger than yourself. It can be incredbily satisfying to be in a guild or clan and help those you care about, but it can be equally as hard to say no to those very same friends." - Guild Guru

Saddling The Drama Llama - http://oriniwen.wordpress.com/2008...
A GM's advice to others (leader and non-leader alike) to conflict resolution. I've followed his steps many times myself, as well as recommended others to do the same. Would make a great post on guild forums (be sure to give him credit if you do) In summary: Stage 1 - Don’t do anything! Stop and think about the issue. Stage 2 - Suck it up. Be the bigger person and let the conflict slide. Stage 3 - Deal with it yourself. Talk to the other person, adult to adult. Stage 4 - Involve the authorities. Chose the right level to take it to. Stage 5 - Let it go. Move on, let bygones be bygones. - Guild Guru
Cybercriminals making a killing on magic swords - http://technollama.blogspot.com/2008...
If this isn't a call to action for GM's and guild leaders to get a Blizzard authenticator then I don't know what is. I've seen 5 hacked accounts in our guild in the last month--most get hit multiple times. Protect your guild banks - Guild Guru

Start of a guide on leading a hard-core raiding guild. An excellent start at that. Don't let the title fool you, it's actually about raiding and guild leading. - Guild Guru
Landed in Howling Fjord. Loing the music so far. And seeing so many guildies online
