Wow. Well said, IMO. I'm pretty sick of it too. Wrote a fairly scathing comment re: Twitter doing just this. Jobs posted for months, that they DESPERATELY need to fill (like the ones I've applied for in TechOps) and don't even call back to say thanks or no thanks. These positions go unfilled and their service suffers from a lack of staff. How pathetic is this? Oh...And employers, if you're not hiring, please don't be" accepting resumes" Ha! And If you can see that I'm a 20yr vet, and you're only 25yo, PLEASE don't insult me by calling to see if I'm interested in an entry level sysadmin job (for the same as I made in HighSchool!). I agree with you 100% on them trying to offer an entry level position for someone with years of experience and knowledge in a field. I also have to agree that they should not "accept" resumes if they are not hiring. - Billy Nab
