There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
A James Bond flick. Bond is on the right, and Pussy Galore on the left.
- John E. Bredehoft
Not too many people know that Tom Cat was briefly James Bond, but he had a hairball incident and had to pass to George Lazenby instead.

Contract job to redesign a staffing agency's website, plus if it works out he's going to promote me to other companies in the area. I think the employment drought is finally over!
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Congratulations! I have many family and friends who are looking for employment right now and I know how tough of a market it is. I'm very happy for you. Best wishes ;-)
- Holly Rae
I would fling panties right now, but I would have some explaining to do as to where I got them. Oh wait, you meant everyone ELSE? Sure, fling away!
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Yay! Wait, I missed where you didn't have one. What happened to Blellow? Or was that not a real job?
- Jandy
This calls for a celebration. :D And you know how we should celebrate? BY REVIEWING TWILIGHT. :D I'll bring the beer and cookies.
- tinypants (Amanda H)
Really great, Sean. Hope we start seeing more of these kinds of posts.
- Trish Haley
Even better (and this will mark the SECOND time FF has led to job opportunity): I'll be working with Eric @ CS TechCast to redesign their podcasting site!
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Make that money, child. And then buy me something.
- Derrick
This is one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen, entirely filmed with webcams! The collaborative work that must have gone into this is mind blowing. Just watch, you'll love it. It'll bring a huge smile to your face.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Glad I came back to check this out after liking it on my phone when I didn't have the chance to see it yet. It's seriously neat. Thanks for sharing that, Sean! :) I *did* smile
- Kamilah Gill
This is also true, along with the direct to DVD follow up film
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
ok so i saw this on theonlydevice.com i thought this was a show.. not a movie.. fanboys.. please explain
- Caroline
It's both. It was originally a series broadcast on Showtime several years ago that lasted two seasons before it was cancelled. Earlier this year they released a direct to DVD follow up film that takes place about 5 years after the final episode.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
This show was written and created by Bryan Fuller, the man also responsible for Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls, as well as the upcoming season of Heroes.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
I liked the follow up movie, but didn't like that they replaced Daisy, I also wish that they would have made an entire season instead of just the one film
- Davis Freeberg
Wonderfalls is one of the best shows that never made it
- Davis Freeberg
Agreed, Davis. I didn't like the "replacement" Daisy either. The reason they made a movie is because Showtime wouldn't fund an entire season. If the DVD movie did well, it's possible that they could be picked up by the Sci Fi channel or another network, but it didn't happen.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
yea a php programmer friend of mine.. was watching pushing daisies around the same time.. sadly they both kinda got pushed back.. from the spot light. i thought pushing daisies was retro and innovating at the same time
- Caroline
Absolutely, Caroline. It was a wonderful quirky little show with excellent writing and dialog. Possibly my favorite moment from that show was during Season 1 where they were trapped in a soundproofed Crash Test Dummy car and the "villain" was giving a monologue which none of the characters could hear.

Photographs of people in the morning should be outlawed. My father was guilty of taking pics of my mom before she'd had her first cup of coffee... =/
- FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Photo taken by my cousin last weekend the day after the river float. I was even grumpier than normal because I was sunburned and barely slept. :/
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Agreed, Tina! People always do the "GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!" to me and it makes me so angry. I know they're just teasing because I am such an obvious grump, but gawd so tired of hearing that phrase. :D
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
When I was 8 I had a Snoopy nightshirt that said "I think I'm allergic to morning". It is more apt now than it was then, I wish I still had it.
- Mellissa Doyle
I am allergic to morning. I've been tested and everything. Although now that I think about it, I might just be a vampire. Except without the glitter. And I shower.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
I understand and share your pain. Early morning SUCKS.
- Ian May
People who say morning sunshine should be shot, I mean I don't call them up in the middle of the night and say good night moonbeam do I (:

Your mama´s like a shotgun - five cocks and she´s loaded. (not necessarily a favourite, but one I remembered after reading Heather´s right now..).
- Thomas Bøhm
Yo mama is so nasty she kills FF threads (apparently).

I've been following this for a few years now. This is the third Hunter S. Thompson novel to be translated for the cinema, the first being "Where The Buffalo Roam" and second of course being "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Johnny Depp once again takes the mantel of Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson (as Paul Kemp.) The story takes place in in Puerto Rico as HST/Kemp documents working for a small American newspaper and the wild stories that go along with it. Also starring Amber Heard, Giovanni Ribisi, and Aaron Eckhardt.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
I wish the effects were better, but oh well.
- joey
@Joey agreed, and some of the acting as well. I don't care, I still will watch anything to do with this series. It was just so exciting seeing these two novels adapted for television for the first time, even if they did leave out a crapload.

That would be the twins Leto II (James McAvoy) and Ghanima (Jessica Brooks), sitting on the Shield Wall looking for a sandworm. Bail Ali Kaifa!
