Sony lie about specs? Never. :) And no, they don't say that the refresh rate is 120hz...Also they get to those rates, not by taking discreet FPS inputs from a source, but rather by taking a 24 or 60hz input and running them through motion smoothing algorithms which cause you to lose detail...not the same as running a PC through a CRT at 120hz with a beefy CPU/GPU capable of playing Quake, etc. at 120FPS. - Alex Scoble
