Perhaps sentence-final を expresses a wish, as in "may you have a good New Year", "may you become the strongest savior"...
I don't understand sentence-final を, as in 「良いお年を」or 「最強の救世主たらんことを」. Normally 「AをB」is "do B to A", but here there's no B. What does it mean?
Today is the last day of work this year; then I'll be on holiday until 6th Jan inclusive - almost three weeks. :)
