Thanks for all the prayers during my travails with my deteriorating discs! I have now been off all meds for 1 week. (Praise God!) I made it through the nerve conduction study yesterday, physical therapy today, and I have an appointment with the Pain Management Specialist tomorrow.

Talked with a dear Christian brother tonight who had wisdom to share with me as I go through physical therapy and pain management and nerve conduction studies. He is making sure I stay focused on proper nutrition, and walking (as much as I can tolerate) to keep the lymphatic system in good working order...

At the radiologist getting a "sitting" X-Ray as part 1 of my 30 day treatment plan to hopefully avoid back surgery.

Phase 1 of my 30 days of alternate treatments to see if my back will heal without surgery! Today I get a "sitting" X-Ray of the lumbar spine, and pick up the original X-Ray from 11/5 when the disc blowout happened. Monday 11/30 will be phase 2 which will be the first of the physical therapy sessions.
