In 2008 we started playing with rubber printer blankets (used in the off-set print process). Sealing in the ink print left on them was a challenge that took awhile to solve. We initially designed a4 art folios and build a range of luggage tags, ipad cases and macBook sleeves out of the blankets. In 2006 we launched the billboard macBook sleeve range. We called them ‘PROPHYLAPTICS’ which most media didn’t get but you punters did. The range was featured in a swag of mags including the Qantas & Virgin inflight mags which drove loads of sales & helped generate interest from design stores in Aus & lands far far away. Today’s product from down memory laneway is The FOREMAN messenger bag, released in 1999 and its still pretty much the same bag today.
