Sadly, this is dormant knowledge already in my brain... information I learned while working in an archive for GM long ago. It might help me win a trivia contest some year though... who knows.

"Google keeps its users’ search terms" <- Sure, this sounds creepy until you realize just how useful this is. I was doing research a few days ago on several topics, I couldn't find one file I remember finding the day before using search terms I thought I used previously (but apparently didn't)... so I searched my search history. I found it easy, and starred it so I wouldn't lose it again. If you do a lot of research, it's worth keeping it turned on.

Facebook is killing granularity in privacy levels... I may have to start defriending a lot of people... either that or take a lot of crap off my Facebook profile.

A man updates Twitter while standing at the altar in his own wedding... seems tacky, but I must say it was well executed (look at the video). He even had her phone ready so she can update hers.

Not sure about either side here, but I still like FriendFeed, it's too bad it's caught up in all of this. I use Twitter, FriendFeed, and Facebook all separately, for different reasons.

Good idea, but interface is overwhelming me... tag clouds too much, both sides of the screen scrolling with tweets, not sure where to look. Just want to click away fast.

I can't stand that stupid scroll bar... I can't use my scroll wheel with it. It also move things too far up and down when I try to drag it.

Interesting, but I don't agree... maybe the head of a library should have an MBA. I don't feel my one Management class in Library School was enough to prepare me for running an entire library system. I think that there are plenty of librarians who do have a knack for management, but there are an equal number of them who don't, and they are running libraries simply because they have an LIS.

I find the game aspect of Gowalla definitely more fun. The iPhone interface is better than Foursquare too. I do wish there was a way of editing locations already added though, my GPS readings seem to be way off when checking in, and I have a feeling it could be off when creating spots with my own phone too. Having another method of editing an address of a location might help this.
