"Are you using a mac or PC? It sounds like you have a PC. You can check to see if the service is installed and/or on under the Control Panels > Administration > Services . If it is not on, you can start it (set it to automatic). If it is not there, you should probably reinstall iTunes."

"Hmm, that is very odd. I had to play around a lot with both iPhoto and the Image Capture until it worked. Also be sure you update your OS as Apple may post out fixes."

"Thanks for your entry. Please don't forget to include a link to your computer photos. Also, be sure that the email you have entered is valid (as I received a bounce back when trying to notify you about the picture)."

First of all, I'm jealous. I really like being able to actually play with the technology that I write about. It's important for me to understand what make

This is a giveaway that I'm doing and I just want to be sure that users see it in time for the 2009 Holidays. Easy to enter: 1) take picture of old crappy PC, 2) write a sob story or Holiday song 3) give a little promotion of it! That's it! Good odds at winning the HP TouchSmart 600

"That is a great question, one that I'm looking to answer myself. If you come across any that look interesting, please let me know and I will reach out to see if I can review one. Sorry, I have only been using the built-in one."

"Glad it worked for you! If you (or your client) are in the holiday spirit of "giving", I have a donation link in there (wink). If not, please be sure to spread the word on the fix."

"That depends on the placement of the deck. The lights are bright and I haven't had many issues with viewing. With just about any deck, you will have some difficulties viewing in direct sunlight. The Sony's screen is not a big as the Parrot but it works fine. Once you get used to it, you should be able to get through the screen pretty easily."

"I have tested podcasts on both devices using Bluetooth streaming. Both worked great. In terms of hooking up an iPod or iPhone for podcast playback, my wife uses the Xplod with her iPod and plays podcasts just fine with it. I have tried the Parrot with podcasts via the connector on my iPhone and it works fine as well. So, from what I can tell, both decks will be fine for podcasts when your iPod/iPhone is directly connected."

"I'm not giving extra entries for tweeting. If people only leave their twitter account, that is how I notify them. I do randomly select (I have an iPhone app that gives me a random number based on the number of comments on the blog post). However, I have to remove the duplicate entries and the ones that don't leave any type of contact info (e.g., twitter or email). I look solely at the comments for the selection."

"If you want to fill out the Contact form with your details, I can follow up with you directly. I have helped a few other people fix their WordPress issues. I do ask for a small donation for my time to go onto your server and troubleshoot."

"Be sure that you are logged in as an Administrator. If that doesn't work, try rebooting in safemode and then logging in as an Administrator that way."

"Picture quality in low light is not that great with either device because the small lens size cannot capture that much light. For the best results, you really need good bright lighting (outside lighting is best) to really make it worth it."

"I could have written about twice as much as I did. So to answer your questions: - Podcasts - you need to download an app for the syncing of podcasts (I can't remember the name of it) - Videos - you simply drag the videos or music over to the appropriate folder, once you have mounted the Droid as a USB device - DVDs - see above, you first first need convert it to the appropriate folder and then move it over. - XM radio - there is probably an app in the Android store for that, or you can stream radio stations - Mac sync - well you probably want to do everything through google. Honestly, I would totally buy the Droid if I wasn't an iPhone guy and locked into AT Hope I answered your questions."

"Well the other option that you have is to get an iPod Nano that has the video built in. It's NOT HD but is multi-purpose. I found the Kodak to be much less bulky than the UltraHD but have not tried the Mino. The Kodak works well in my pocket."

"Thanks for the details. Sounds very much like my situation. I wonder when this thread and the Flickr photos will hit a critical mass to where Honda listens (or some smart lawyer sees a class action case pending or something."
