In fact, putting meat in front of an image of a deity is considered a "sin". "using a Hindu religious figure to promote something that is taboo to Hinduism is just plain stupid on the part of the ad agency that did this" The point I was trying to get across with the examples was that the attitude the country has towards everything Indian is about commercializing its name and image. Rarely do they think about the "feelings" of Hindus or in fact any other minority."
