I was having an issue with a migration today, started emailing for help w/Roy, Lee and James... email was cumbersome and slow. I then launched Pidgin with Roy and it ROCKED! The communication was awesome and we fixed the issue. Thank you for turning me on to the technology.. I do use it!
Just got back from Best Buy and bought the Toshiba. This is the one we talked about at work for 399 - but they were sold out except for a display model, so they took an additional 50 off. Then we discovered there were some scratches on the outside cover - totally cosmetic - got it for 299. :)
It is 57 degrees and i am in long pants and long sleeve shirt - have been all day. DSL works just not on my company laptop and helpdesk doesn't support DSL. I'm gonna have to take the clunker at my desk and get the memory/motherboards fixed and bring it up here.
The Windows Live link I sent you yesterday - it shows as being free - until you look at the contract. Before downloading it, which I didn't, I was reviewing the contract prior to accepting it and noticed that around section 7 it begins talking about subscription fees and trial periods...
