"Normally I'd complain that people are still beating a dead horse with the Michael Jackson thing (LOL C WUT I DID THUR), but The Warriors is awesome, so I can't complain."
- Ryan Souders
It's worth noting that the FriendFeed (safari link) icon may supplant Tweetie at some point fairly soon, given how much more often I launch the former v. the latter.

Never thought about changing it, but right - the iPod icon is kind of redundant. In particular on the 3G S, where you can fire up the iPod via voice control over the headset.

My home button double-click opens up my phone favorites. Did y'all pick the iPod option yourselves?

Voice control is the 3GS feature about which I'm the least excited, I think. I don't actually have the handset (yet), but I just don't see it scratching any major itch for me. Does it work well?

I have my IPOD there, because my home button double-tap is set to bring up Google Search

@Daniel yeah, it's in Settings > General > Home

I found it, I was just wondering if Phone was the default for everyone.

If it's jailbroken, the five icon dock app in Cydia works a treat.

Phone, Messages (SMS), BeejiveIM, Tweetie

that would probably be the only reason I'd consider jailbreaking (well, perhaps 720p video on the 3GS)

Brett: I haven't used it a lot, but it flawlessly starts my favorite playlist and turns on shuffle. And it makes you feel like in a sci-fi movie when it replies to you.

"No problem. I'm just glad people are reading the articles and watching the movies. I really need to prepare them in advance though. Most of them are just quickly kludged together while I'm on my lunch break at work, or right before I go out on Friday night, and I feel they don't do the movies justice. But, I guess if people are watching the movies and enjoying them, then my mission of exposing others to the wonders of schlock cinema is working. :)"

"You're damn right. I said I wanted to have fun on my day off, I'm gonna have some fun. I can't see any way to have a whole lot of fun other than that No More Heroes disc that was sitting on my shelf. ^_^"
- Ryan Souders
"I think you forgot to mention the part where even though you drove away with the car, it was actually still there, and the dealership still had it."
- Ryan Souders
I'll figure it out eventually. This machine is just determined to give me problems right now. Maybe I should sleep it off. :P

"I'm just waiting for the day she gets drunk or coked-out and decides to make a few tweets of her own. Given her track record of doing extraordinarily dumb things, I believe hilarity will ensue."
