My daughter graduated today with her MBA! Got it while working full time doing biologic research and part time at an eye clinic. Way to go!
Take car to dealer. Need part. Part no in stock. Order part. $41 to have them do that. Bring car back another day. Pay $134 WTF?

Things have calmed down at work in time for a nice end to the week. Plus, I actually got some reports written. 12 down and only 404 to go!

Dell comes through!! Got the disk for 64-bit Vista, by Fedex today. This is the Dell I remember relying on for so many years. Thank you.
found a DELL contact in fourmswho says he can send me the disk I need! Keeping in fingers crossed!
OMG Trying to get the disk to upgrade to Vista 64 bit for my Dell Inspiron 530. Spent 1 hr on phone & chat w/Dell and 35 min W/MS & no go.
October is over, and so is most of my fall traveling. Thankfully! Taking the day off to recover from it all.
Oh! It's good to be home! Enjoyed KC - really a nice place with very nice people.
Raining......Ugh! One thing that I don't like is there is no Comedy Central on the hotel cable system. Double Ugh!!
Made it to KC. Temporary home for the next four nights. Pleasantly impressed with the community, so far.
Spending the night in Greenup, IL. Motel is clean and reasonably priced - not fancy but who cares when you eyes are closed.
