Странник, Have you checked out the hardware on this thing? Also, Manila 2.5 completely wraps winmo so you never see it, unless you want to. If you're dismissing it out of hand, you're really missing out. This device blows the iphone out of the water. And while it's not the iphone ui, it's way fun to use.

"Excellent news, fellow HTC Hero owners. Just yesterday there was speculation that HTC may be skipping the Android 1.6 (Donut) update and heading straight to version 2.0 (Éclair). HTC has now confirmed that they are doing exactly that."

"In this video, we take a hardware tour of the Touch HD. As we mentioned earlier, the device is essentially a massive screen. The entire front panel is one uniform piece of glass (well, glass resides under the top layer of the resistive touch screen), and it looks beautiful. Everyone I've shown the phone to so far as has the same impression after pulling it out of the cover: "Wow!" There's nothing else out there that looks like the Touch HD."

Touch Pro is REAL nice.. a bit thick though.. looks about the same thickness as the Mogul/Tilt? If that Swype text input was ready, I would forego a keyboard, but otherwise... I would grab the Pro.
