"You use "censorship" far too lightly. reddits are created by the community. Anyone can create them, as you have done, and it those reddits, the creator and the moderators are free to moderate as they see fit. It is a distributed and constantly evolving community. There are many reddits covering the exact same topic, and it it up to the submitter to use their best judgement in submitting to 1 reddit per story. If you submit to multiple ones every once in while that's fine, but if you do it all the time, most community and most mods will label you as spam. Please make sure you read this: http://www.reddit.com/help..."

"I'm am one of those faceless reddit admins . You and I have been in touch several times. Our spam filter is not perfect and what is considered spam in one reddit is not the same in another. I may not respond to every message you have sent me, but I have to many, so please don't say or imply that we do not respond or actively censor."

hueypriest on Anyone ever heard of a "pickleback"? It's a shot of Jameson followed by a shot of pickle juice. I was skeptical, but it is good - http://www.reddit.com/r...

"I agree. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to help explain the story and it's awesome to be quoted, but I too wish there had been more about who created and raised this project. I thought they were going to talk to kickme444 as well and made sure they had his contact info, but I know they were working hard to beat a deadline. Whenever any reddit staff talk to press (about this or the jetblue travelers or other awesome community projects) we always make sure we stress that it was an organic community project and we had little if anything to do with it. For a "news brief" which is short and for a general audience there's only so much of the story they can tell, and I thought the reporter did a great job. We are working on getting some more in depth coverage for the project, which can do justice to the full story."

"Thanks, this is the first one we distributed in HD. So far myself and/or another reddit employee has gone to the interview (except for Zach from SMBC, because he insisted on doing the interview naked). We have some coming up where volunteers or the interviewees themselves may record the interviews, but in general we try to go to TX or DC or where ever for the interview. Yeah, I screwed up the one channel sound :( but it'll be fixed on later versions of the interview."

"I've been shooting video with them for 4-5 years. I don't do all the missions, just some. I'm the idiot who got busted by security & NYPD with a camera hidden in an xbox package during the infamous best buy mission. Good idea about IAmA... I'll see if I can get the improv everywhere creator to do one."

"Not nit-picky at all. I film them, with help from a friend or another member of the reddit team when available. There's no budget and we usually have 5-10 min to set up beforehand. No excuse, though. Production quality will improve in 2010. We'll always try to do these on location and with as light a footprint as possible, but still possible to have great looking and sounding video with those confines. I should have checked the sound mix and matched the cameras in post before uploading this one, but didn't want to make y'all wait any longer to see the interview. Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming."

"I was the one videoing that cop, and it was more like he was trying hard to keep a neutral face. He knew the camera was on him and was trying not to smile or look at the camera. There were a few cops there while we were doing this and they seemed indifferently confused or perhaps even entertained. No cops or security bothered us as far as I know."
