Good to be home, even though I'm sad it's all over. Gotta start saving for the next trip.
If Kyoto requires 30 days like I said earlier, Tokyo will require over 2 years to see... this place make NYC look like a small town. The excursion is over, so sad. Didn't get to see nearly as much as I'd like to. But the parts we saw were great! Back to Okinawa for a few days, then the vacation will be over.
Night and day. The New Sanno hotel in Tokyo is a luxury U.S. hotel with real beds and room service. Sure does blow the Ryokan Sparkling Dolphin from Kyoto away.
In Kyoto, staying at a Hostel. Private room with bunk beds for the family - with our own bath, though. "Borrowing" WiFi from someone, no idea who.
