Yeah, there is Twidroid and Twitli. But Twidroid seems like overkill and Twitli needs some improvement.

Nambu is a pretty good iPhone App - but it acts funny if you don't define a Twitter account, and there is no way to make it default to identica.
- Paul Holmes
Identi.ca has Twitter-compatible API, so, it can be used with and Twitter mobile client with minimal modifications. I think, should Identi.ca devs approach Android Twitter app devs and propose them to increase their userbase by offering identi.ca support, Identi.ca Android app will be up and running shortly.

I lost my data yesterday i try 2 do something and after when im finish i receive a fuc.... virus on my computer the mechant personne as now on the jail im redected our IP
- Jean Langlois
Jean, I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here. The data in PeopleBrowsr is saved in the PeopleBrowsr cloud, not on your local machine.

There are similarities. PeopleBrowsr has many more features that either Tweetdeck or Seesmic, as well as access to many more social networks.

Is there a way to post to automatically my Identi.ca account when posting an entry from FriendFeed's web interface ? Just like there's today for Twitter ?

OpenMicroBlogging meeting on Monday Oct 6 2008, 21H UTC. We'll meet in openmicroblogging@conference.jabber.org. Talk about integration between jabber/xmpp an microblogging. - http://pageoftext.com/openmic...
if I'm not already logged in to identi.ca I get "Warning: Header may not contain more than a single header, new line detected. in /var/www/identi.ca/lib/util.php on line 1005" instead

Are there any java clients for mobile phones that support laconi.ca servers yet? A modified Twitter client would be good enough in first approximation.
@Gabe any reason for not having the openID login there?
- lohang
lohang: no, not really :) I stripped a lot out when I was working on the design, and just never bothered to add it back. I'll add it back in there this weekend. I'm going to look into facebook connect integration as well. The more ways people can login the better. Thanks for the praise!
- grag
@Andy C: Ok i'll add a link to my source code. Do you know where I can find more info about the laconica software use requirements? Couldn't find anything about it on the wiki.
- grag
@Gabe, first: nice job. Second: there's a COPYING file in the distribution. You must share all source code for a public site. Second: you built it with LACONICA, not with IDENTICA. One's the software, the other's the site. Please don't mix them up when you're talking to other people. Finally: please sign up for our dev mailing list.
- Evan Prodromou
@Evan, sorry about calling it identica. I noticed the mistake a bit after I posted but there were already comments... I just added a link to my source code and info about the license in my site's footer. Thanks for making this great piece of software!

I'd like to to start allowing users from other laconica instances to follow imgfave users, but I haven't been able to wrap my brain around the whole federation thing (and http://openmicroblogging.org seems to be down). If anyone could give me an overview of how that would work that would be great!
- grag
Really well done! A simple design, and a great new idea built off laconica!
