A woman in maroon Corolla lic. 4TCN773 started her K-turn right in front of me tonight while I was on Bryant Avenue Northbound just South of Oregon Expwy, causing me to all but completely stop. I asked if she saw me. She said yes (I was running my headlight, of course), but claimed she was being careful. What was she thinking? Piaw Na, Bob...
What do you all think of Regina Spektor? http://www.lala.com/#artist... I really like her vocals, lyrics, harmonic idiom, and the little grace notes she adds. But I am totally turned off, so far, by her vocal "special effects"; they just seem to ruin the music. Thoughts?
