I'm not much of a movie collector but I notice Forrest Gump on TV all the time.

Aristocats, Enter The Dragon, Seven Samurai, Seventh Seal, Hair, Coyote Ugly, Midnight Express...what a strange mix!

Hunt for Red October is a movie I never get tired of watching

Good lord, the disdain I feel for Wes Anderson. I actually like Bottle Rocket and Rushmore, but after that? NOPE.
- Derrick
Good god, I have a list. But at the very top would be Labyrinth, The 'Burbs, Batman (1989), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and Indian Summer.
- tinypants - Hagitha of FF
Office Space, Space Balls, Remember the Titans, Walk to Remember, and The Star Wars Trilogy (original - that I watch at least once a month)
- Mona Nomura
Lost in Translation, The Incredibles, Babe, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Star Wars, Raising Arizona, Seven Samurai, The Matrix, ... and on and on. I watch the movies i love over and over.
- ·[▪_▪]·
The Graduate, Ferris Buellers Day off, and About Last Night.....by default I feel like I've seen Dogma on VH1 a lot...hahahah
- *Tiffany Diamond*
I can not avoid watching any of the Robocops, any of the LOTR, any of POTC, any of the Back to the Futures -- and these series are often in heavy rotation on cable/satellite, it seems. I've seen Roadhouse way more times than I'd like to admit.
- Andy Bakun
as a kid it was probably The Neverending Story. As a teen/young adult it was Ferris Beuller's Day Off. I always watch Goodfellas, Casino, 12 Monkeys, and the Ocean's movies when they are on TV but, over my lifetime, I'd guess I'd seen either Return of the Jedi or The Color Purple the most times.
- Jason Toney
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. I wish John Candy was still around and making movies.
- Type Micah
oh, i nearly forgot 3 i've seen less but still multiple times: made in heaven, beloved, immortal beloved, just cause. ok, so that's 4.

The forthcoming Arrested Development movie.

My siblings and I watched the shit out of VHS copy of Lots of Luck back in the 80s. Staring Annette Funicello, Fred Willard, Martin Mull and Tracey Gold.
- Andy Bakun
Apocalypse Now, The Wall, Brazil, Blade Runner, Rocky Horror, Princess Bride... but honestly, I'd rather see something I've never seen before. (it's just that I have to admit I've seen all of those movies many many times)
- Jason Wehmhoener
Also, Grease and Friday. I've seen those HELLA times.
- Derrick
Oh, and Brazil, thanks for reminding me, Jason.
- Pete Delucchi
Princess Bride, Holy Grail, Office Space. Probably the highest frequency. Also Star Wars (any of them), fight club, Real Genius... and frequency+awe I have to give it to Lawrence of Arabia and Seven Samurai (my two favorite movies of all time) but definitely haven't seen them as often as those first three.
- mikepk
Oh man this thread is reminding me of tons of others... Galaxy Quest is up there too.
- mikepk
Fletch, Better Off Dead, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Trading Places, Spinal Tap, Grand Canyon, Full Metal Jacket, Star Wars, Princess Bride, Brazil, Buckaroo Banzai ... plenty more but that's what comes to mind.
- AJ Kohn
Shawshank Redemption, Field of Dreams, Forrest Gump, Garden State, Goodfellas...can't turn it if I catch them on the tube.
- cjmart
There was a a year and a half period where I played Fight Club almost every day. I bought 5 copies of it as I'd find myself someplace without a DVD of Fight Club and had to watch it. I didn't sit down and watch it the entire time, but it was my background noise after the first few months. Clerks, the Evil Dead movies and Star Wars saga, rate pretty high up there also.
- Rob H.
Used to be Goodfellas and Spinal Tap, but now it's usually older classics that my husband will watch umpteen zillion times. Pretty much all the Katherine Hepburn - Spencer Tracy ones, all the Thin Man ones, My Man Godfrey, The Women ... too many to list here.
- Laura Norvig
It's gotta be Tombstone, followed closely by The Matrix, the first one.
- Malcolm Lloyd
I've not watched a movie over and over for ages but in the past it was the likes of Predator and Aliens. I've seen Matrix a few times and Sunshine (Danny Boyle sci-fi movie). If I had the time Sunshine and The Invisible would be the 2 movies I'd watch over and over now. Both brilliant IMHO. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
have seen the original Star Wars trilogy probably the most of any films
- Nathan Chase
Trainspotting. I think I've seen that more than I've seen Star Wars.
- Nine
First the return of science, now the end of torture and unlawful detainment. What's next the reinstatement of probable cause?

"After mentioning the ability of a potential running mate to replace the president, McCain said, "You also look for people who maybe have talents you don't, or experience or knowledge you don't, as well." "What are those qualities that you don't - that you wouldn't mind complementing?" asked David Brooks, a columnist for The New York Times. McCain paused. "Uh, maybe I shouldn't say this, but, somebody who's really well grounded in economics," he said."

Another things is that in China, food portions are WAY smaller than America. I'd say they're the proper size. When I came back from there, I was disgusted by how huge the serving size of things were here.
- Louie
Yeah, being poor does often keep you from stuffing your face.
- Phillip Stewart
It's generally lower in fat and red meat plus the portions are much much smaller
- Sally Church
You can also Wok your food adding a portion of rice.! and then after stuff yourself with dessert!!! yummy
- rstuifzand
it's not just in China. Generally, Asian serving portions are smaller (or, proper) in size. Take for example, the McDonald's french fries. The regular size fries in the US is already the 'supersize' fries in the Philippines. Same goes for the drinks. The burgers are pretty much the same size.
- George Aranjuez
from twhirl
Being from South Asia, meal sizes in US were huge for me and I never ever got to finish them .... infact when i got back I had gained good 6lbs in 1.5 months ...
- Raza
The article says "The Chinese don't have a word for 'calories' " This would put the entire Chinese Scientific community at a huge disadvantage.

cheers Morton...but i'm afraid i don't follow. So i find an image on the web...say, this one http://img.timeinc.net/time... .What's the next step? Because when i click the share on friendfeed, it just inserts a link rather than the image.

Then you'll invoke the bookmarklet. Fields will populate (you can change them, of course). Add whatever narrative you wish. To add an image, mouse over whatever you'd like to post. You'll get a prompt. Click it -- the image will now populate in the bookmarklet field. Save and you're done.

Chris, much appreciated. Literally just figured it out - really impressed actually...no run of the mill bookmarklet.

Thanks for this. We just couldn't seem to figure it out for ourselves.
