"But it's rarely as clear as hate or love, which is what boils my blood. What we don't see much of, or hear about, are the more level headed and constructively critical people who get labelled as haters because they seemingly dare to have room for more than one brand in their lives. There is also something more poisonous than jealousy which is when one almost preaches their hate/love of a brand over a more level headed approach. Or simply hating the haters, just as bad as jealously."

"That is her right hand behind her head which you can tell from the placement of the fingers, specifically the litter finger. Try doing that with your left hand and getting your little finger on that side."

"I like that idea of using something really old and rustic and just doing what you did to make a small area flat and smooth. Have any photos?"

"I did consider those but the weight and thickness of them made the idea a little too impractical. We have a timber merchant just up the road that sell them, but after going up to look at them felt it was just way OTT for the size of my room. I can imagine a nice size studio they would look really cool thought."

"This logo mark is all out of context. If you visit the Atlanta website you will see how the logo should usually appear which is red on white with black wording. I assumed incorrectly that people might have dug around a little bit. :)"

"I only invoke the "holding deposit" if the project is some weeks/months away from actually being started. This way I can get a small holding deposit that just gives me more peace of mind that they are committed. Sometimes in this waiting period clients 'could' find someone else which could leave you in spot of bother; especially if you have subsequently turned down other work in this time. I usually only ask for around £200 as this holding deposit which is not such an unreasonable amount to ask when you are no where close to starting the project. When the time is ready to start I then send over the next invoice which is just a variation of the 3-part method minus the previously paid £200. Seems to work really well."

"Turns out Google Authorshiop it isn't open to everyone, but I have no idea what the criteria are that gets you in or not in. In my case I was informed about the process direct from Google, but then I was pretty quick on the ball with it. I have a feeling they were keen to help the earlier adopters, so to speak, get up and running."

"Thanks for the explanation which makes perfect sense. However I am still inclined to say that there is always room for movement with the design and the cross in order to better present their national airline. When you are talking your countries national airline then a few calculated tweaks in order to optimise the visuals will show the national icon in a more suitable way. At the moment even though it's—the flag—wrapped full size it looks squashed and tight. Is it not feasible to have the national icon displayed in such a way as to create a more presentable national icon and airline livery? I don't think this is alienating or disrespecting the national identity, but actually enhancing it for each application. But regardless; it's made me think more about how we apply design and knowing when it's OK to break or flex the rules when faced with issues such as what you point out. :)"

"I know people are not seeing results straight away but I just assume they now have a back-log of submissions to go through. I really don't have an answer to why some people are having these delays. Sorry."

"I have no idea why it isn't working as yet just that I was signed up within a day of it being released so maybe there is a back-log so to speak?"
