Goethe und Schiller Die Nennung dieser beiden Namen soll uns hier beschäftigen. Da ist zunächst Goethe. Er ist, insbesondere wenn er isoliert angeführt wird, durchaus ohne Schiller zu denken. Ebenso Schiller, der nicht unbedingt die Addition, die syndetische Verknüpfung mit »Goethe« braucht. (Ich verweise auf die Inschrift an seinem Geburtshaus in Marbach. Dort ist nur von Schiller die Rede.) Beide, sowohl Goethe als auch Schiller, haben ihre dichterischen Arbeiten nur mit einem, meist ihrem eigenen Namen unterzeichnet. Wir sehen, der Anwendungsbereich der Doppel-Nennung »Goethe und Schiller« ist begrenzt. Sie erfüllt ihren Zweck an dem Denkmal von Rietschl, das tatsächlich beide Dichter darstellt. Dieses Monument, ein Sinnbild der Doppelformel Goethe und Schiller, ist ohne einen von beiden schwer vorstellbar. Fehlte einer, es verdiente kaum den Namen eines Goethe-und-Schiller-Denkmals. Right-wing violence is not merely a latent but a structural problem. Philosophers (critical thinkers) like T. W. Adorno and Zygmunt Baumann believe(d) that Auschwitz resp. Shoah is hardly considered to be a coincidence or an accident; but that it was rather a well-functioning product of/by the modern era. Modernism always implies a regulatory framework of administrative structures to which we all are subject but which, however, constantly gets nourished by our personal juridical acts and decisions. If we and our policy-makers would decide in favor of a party-ban, we would sweep the problem of right-wing violence under the carpet only to make it invisible.
