I like the idea of the silhouette and the composition. Also, for me the blue sky adds to the impression of being on a trip. The hanging shoes (or what is it?) make it a little hard to identify the arrows and thus the story of the image.

Hey Martin, thanks for the invite. The texture of the field is great and the angry sky is brilliant, but the flip of the field is a little confusing to the eye. I'm no expert, of course, but I don't think it quite works. I'd much prefer to see it au naturale.

I do have to agree with Chris that initially the flip is quite confusing on the eyes. What I do like about the photo is that it takes a very open scene and then makes you feel confined and trapped, which if that is the message (You can never be free or some such idea) I love the execution. Who knows though I could just be blowing smoke up myself. If nothing else I love the texture, it is wonderfully dark.
